The first session is focused on connection and understanding. Think of it as a low-pressure conversation where we explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain. We will discuss your history, current challenges, and any questions you have about the therapeutic process. By the end of our time, we'll determine if we are a good fit and begin outlining a path forward that feels authentic to you.

Standard individual therapy sessions typically last 50 to 55 minutes. Most clients find meeting once a week to be the most effective way to build momentum and establish a strong therapeutic relationship. However, we can adjust the frequency to bi-weekly or as needed based on your specific goals and progress.

We are currently in-network with Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Quest Behavioral Health, and Viva Health. Please verify your specific coverage and co-pay requirements with your provider prior to your first meeting.

The standard fee for an individual session is $170.00. Payments are due at the time of service, and we accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards through a secure client portal.

Currently, services are only provided virtually, allowing you to engage in therapy from the privacy and comfort of your own space. In-person sessions are tentatively scheduled for Fall 2026.

Counseling services are provided to adults. Whether you are navigating transitions of college or the complexities of adulthood, we offer a space to explore life's heavy realities with genuine human connection.

Yes. Privacy is a cornerstone of the therapeutic process. Everything shared within our sessions is protected, although there are specific exceptions to this. If safety concerns for yourself or others, abuse or neglect of a child or elderly person is suspected, a subpoena is issued, confidentiality could be broken.

Because sessions occur throughout the day limiting the ability to provide immediate emergency responses, please utilize the following resources if you are in immediate distress:

  • Text HOME to 741741 to connect with the Crisis Text Line
  • Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room if you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency.
